The tattoo design I chose was a 5 pointed star pattern, carried out by Ben Rose. I’ve found my 5 iBAMH coursemates this year to be the most powerful tool for resilience in the difficult conditions of various isolations and restrictions. The shooting star aspect of my tattoo represents the special moments that we have managed to share throughout this year, as each member of the course and the conversations we’ve had this year have left a lasting impression on me. Throughout the difficulties of this year, we have supported one another in practical and emotional ways, and this collaborative resilience is something that I wish to carry forward back into my future career as a doctor.
